Wayne and Denise live in the foothills of South Australia. They built their home about 6 years ago and were looking at options to reduce their electricity bill as they were looking to retire and have peace of mind they weren't going to be paying crazy electricity bills throughout their retirement.
The challenge was designing a solar system that was large enough to cover the electricity bills. The customer had 3 x single phase off peak meters and needed a major electrical rewire to ensure there was room for the solar components and the new import/export meter.
The installers also needed to coordinate disconnection and re-connection with SA Power Networks and ensure the work was completed and power was on in time for dinner!
